The experience
A Mother’s Day shoot creates time for Mum to be celebrated and photographed with the people she loves. Sessions can include mother-and-child portraits, siblings, partners and multi-generation combinations, with enough variety for both elegant and informal photographs.
The atmosphere is relaxed and guided throughout. Wardrobe changes can create several looks, and the whole family is welcome to take part when the group size has been agreed in advance.
Plan the session
Practical ideas selected specifically for a Mother's Day experience, from what to bring to how the finished photographs can be enjoyed.
Collect a few family poses you like and choose outfits in complementary colours. Solid shades and gentle textures keep attention on faces, while meaningful props—such as a favourite book, flowers, a musical instrument or a child’s treasured toy—can make the session more personal.
A professional makeup artist can be arranged to create a polished, camera-ready look, or Mum can arrive with her own hair and makeup completed. Please decide before the appointment so every minute of the booked session is used well.
Afterwards, choose favourite photographs for digital delivery, prints, canvases, albums or gifts. A Mother’s Day voucher lets you present the surprise while giving Mum the freedom to select a convenient date.
