The experience
Graduation deserves more than a hurried photograph in a crowded hall. At our Highgate studio, the session is planned around the graduate, with time for formal portraits, relaxed expressions and photographs with family members.
Our photographers guide every pose and lighting setup. A graduation cap, gown and ribboned certificate can be supplied, and you are welcome to bring university colours, awards or personal props that help tell the story of the achievement.
Plan the session
Practical ideas selected specifically for a graduation milestone, from what to bring to how the finished photographs can be enjoyed.
Before the appointment, collect a few graduation poses you like and practise them briefly at home. Arrive with hair styled and makeup applied unless you have arranged our professional makeup artist, and coordinate family outfits if several people will be photographed together.
After the shoot, review the photographs and select your favourites. Chosen images can receive natural retouching, including colour balancing, skin finishing and the removal of small distractions.
Prints, canvases, photobooks, posters and calendars can turn the finished portraits into lasting graduation gifts. Photo-shoot vouchers are also available for graduates who would prefer to arrange their own date.
