The experience
An effective actors headshot should look like you on a very good day and create an immediate connection with a casting director. We use purposeful lighting and finely judged posing rather than heavy effects, keeping expression and skin believable.
Sessions can cover natural, commercial, theatrical, casual and more formal looks. Studios4u also photographs performers, singers, musicians, drama-school students and young actors.

Plan your session
Plan enough variety to demonstrate range while keeping every photograph authentic and immediately recognisable.
Book at least one week ahead where possible, and allow two weeks for popular Saturday appointments. Unless styling has been arranged, arrive with hair prepared and ready to begin.
A casting headshot must remain truthful. Natural retouching is used to tidy temporary distractions, balance colour and retain believable skin texture.
We can bring professional lighting to a school, college, theatre or workplace. The £500 location package makes team and group bookings a practical option.
