The experience

Preserve the details that change so quickly

For more than 20 years, Studios4u has photographed newborns and babies using a blend of classic and contemporary portrait styles. Sessions are relaxed, comfortable and always paced around your child.

Newborn sessions are generally best arranged within the first two weeks after birth. Older babies can be photographed at any stage, with parents and siblings encouraged to join the session.

  • Newborn, baby and family combinations
  • Comfortable lighting and time for breaks
  • Simple clothing, blankets and meaningful personal items

Who it is for: Newborns, babies, parents and siblings creating a lasting family record or an early modelling portfolio.

Plan your session

Plan the session around your baby

Timing, comfort and simple styling give the photographer the best chance of capturing calm expressions and natural family moments.

Timing, feeding and clothing

Try to schedule around your baby's usual sleep and feeding pattern. Soft neutral colours, pastels and simple solid clothing keep attention on the face; a favourite blanket or knitted wrap can add personal texture.

  • Feed and settle your baby before the session
  • Bring spare clothing and familiar comfort items
  • Share a few pose or theme ideas in advance

Baby photography at home

We can bring professional lighting to your home or photograph in a familiar outdoor setting. Ask whether the £500 location package is suitable for your baby session.

  • Prepare a warm, uncluttered space close to natural daylight
  • Keep spare outfits, blankets, nappies and comfort items nearby
  • Allow time for feeding, settling and short breaks during the session
