Gift voucher terms and conditions
The booking, validity, redemption and cancellation terms that apply to Studios4u photo shoot gift vouchers.
Please read these terms before purchasing
These terms apply to photo shoot gift vouchers sold by Studios4u Photo Studios for use at 166 Archway Road, Highgate, London N6 5BB. By purchasing or redeeming a voucher, the purchaser and recipient agree to the terms below.
The voucher confirmation and Stripe checkout description form part of these terms because they identify the particular session, makeup option, duration and image allowance purchased.
Validity
Gift vouchers are valid for six months from the purchase date. The voucher must be booked and used within that period and is valid for one photo shoot session unless the checkout description expressly states otherwise.
Redeeming a voucher
The recipient must contact Studios4u and agree an available appointment. The voucher or verifiable purchase details must be provided when booking. A voucher cannot be redeemed for cash or exchanged for another form of payment.
Booking notice and availability
Please allow at least two weeks’ notice when requesting a date. All appointments are subject to availability, and popular Saturdays may require more notice. Purchasing a voucher does not reserve a particular date.
Rescheduling and cancellation
Give at least seven full days’ notice to cancel or change an appointment. Where less notice is provided, Studios4u may apply a rescheduling charge or treat the voucher as used to cover the reserved studio and staff time. Any charge will be explained before a replacement appointment is agreed.
Services included
The voucher applies only to the photo shoot package shown in the Stripe checkout description. Makeup is included only where a makeup-inclusive voucher was purchased. Prints, products, additional images, extended studio time, complex retouching and other extras are excluded unless expressly listed.
Additional costs
If the recipient requests services costing more than the purchased voucher, they must pay the difference before those services are supplied. Vouchers cannot normally be combined with other promotions or third-party offers.
Recipient and transfer
Vouchers are intended for the named or intended gift recipient and must not be resold. A change of recipient requires Studios4u’s written agreement before the session is booked.
Lost or stolen vouchers
Please treat the voucher and purchase confirmation like cash. Lost or stolen vouchers are not automatically replaced. Contact us promptly; any replacement is subject to the purchase being verified and the voucher remaining unused.
Refunds
Vouchers are not refundable or exchangeable for cash after purchase except where required by applicable consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits the purchaser’s statutory rights.
Late arrival and participation
Late arrival may reduce the available photography time because later appointments cannot always be delayed. Children must remain supervised by a responsible adult, and participants should disclose any relevant accessibility, allergy or makeup-product requirements before the appointment.
Changes to these terms
Studios4u may update these terms for future purchases. A later change will not remove the material rights or inclusions that applied when an existing voucher was purchased.
Liability
Studios4u does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. The studio is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate booking information, undisclosed requirements or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction applicable under those laws.
